I have three children and have experienced that first year three times now. And even still, it’s hard to understand just how fast it all goes. You don’t think a lot can change in a year, let alone six months, but then you look back and you know that a lot has. I have loved documenting this sweet girl’s first six months and making sure that her Mom and Dad get to freeze this sweet season for a lifetime.

Camilla is part of our Collective, which documents your baby’s first year. We’ve documented Camilla’s newborn session, 3 month milestone session and most recently, her 6 month milestone session.

Studio Newborn Session

Camilla’s studio newborn session in my Houston Heights studio was so much fun to photograph. She was an absolute angel and slept for most of her session, except for a few minutes in the very beginning. I was able to get the most beautiful detail photo of her eyelashes, and I am not sure I have ever seen any like it- so beautiful!

The photos we took at the end of Camilla’s newborn session are some of my absolute favorite. Mom and Dad have her right in the palms of their hands- showing just how little she is. She won’t be that little long!

3 Month Milestone Session | White Oak Bayou

For Camilla’s 3 month milestone session, Mom and Dad wanted an outdoor sunset session. We met up at White Oak Bayou and caught up on the last three months. I always love hearing how they are doing and what baby has been up to!

Camilla is holding her head up, much more alert, and loves her hands. She has changed so much in three short months, and I am so glad we didn’t skip over this milestone!

6 Month Milestone Session in Houston Heights Studio

To celebrate Camilla’s first six months, she came back in to my Houston Heights studio with Mom and Dad! This was such a fun session- a mix of just Camilla and also family photos. I love that Mom and Dad has joined for each of her milestone sessions. As much as I love seeing how baby has grown, I love seeing their connection and interaction as a family too!

The next time I’ll see Camilla, she’ll be one and we’ll be celebrating her first birthday session! When I sit and think about how quickly these babies grow, it makes me even more thankful for the role that I get to play as a Houston newborn and family photographer. It’s truly an honor to be able to come alongside you during the most exciting year.
