Today I’m sharing a round up of some of our most popular maternity dresses that our clients can borrow from our studio wardrobe.
Pink Dot Chiffon Dress
My assistant and I call this dress the Unicorn because it is universally flattering in cut and color. I have had moms S-XL wear the same dress and it looks beautiful on everyone. We can style it with the matching slip for more coverage or wear it sheer during a studio maternity session to show off your bump.

Wonder Years Dress
Some dresses I buy at retail, but like any woman, I love a deal. At any given point, I have a list of 8-10 dresses on a watchlist, just waiting for a sale or for them to pop up secondhand. This dress was one of those that I had had my eye on for over a year. Another flexibly sized dress that looks good on just about anyone.

Bouquet Toss Chiffon Dress
This dress is ideal for maternity sessions in my field in the spring and summer. The floral pattern is something a little different and the faux wrap is flattering for growing bellies.

Open Road Lace Tunic
A lot of cheap knock-offs of this Free People design have popped up over the years, but nothing compares the softness and drape of the high end original. It is probably one of my most used pieces because it is so versatile both in size and level of coverage depending on if you prefer to wear it bare or with a slip underneath. I love photographing silhouettes in this tunic so with your pregnant belly only being lightly concealed by the lace

Taupe Lace Dress
Another client favorite, this lace dress’s taupe color is so flattering for most skin tones. Because I prefer to only use a palette of neutrals in my work, offering plenty of variations in that range is important so that every mom has plenty of options that look great with her unique completion.

Bellflower Lace Maxi
I’ve been sourcing dresses for the client wardrobe for years, so many of the dresses I have are no longer available to purchase without some serious Poshmark or Ebay stalking. This dress is in the larger end of my range and is perfect either in the studio or outdoors. The tone on tone medallion pattern give it interest while a simple silhouette make it a classic.

Hermes Dress
This dress is so romanic and ethereal and drapes beautifully across a pregnant belly. I love the unexpected ruched sleeve detail and the movement of the chiffon is stunning outdoors.

Aside from their neutral palette and delicate detailing, there is one more thing that all these dresses have in common. Not a single one is actually a maternity dress! This means that even though they all provide plenty of room for a bump, they are also perfect for moms at all stages of their journey. So if you are planning a newborn or family session, all of these dresses and over 100 more are available to you as well.
Our summer and fall calendar is filling for maternity and newborn sessions, and I would love to begin planning for your family too. Be sure to fill out our contact form to get the process started.
