Maternity sessions have the option of being done in my natural light studio, creating an intimate, feminine feeling, or out in my private field at sunset, capturing that warm glow of the last moments of sunlight. For Bina’s session, we opted for a split session that allowed for both looks, giving her a larger variety of images to choose from. While this arrangement always presents some extra challenges with scheduling, I think the results were worth it.

Our goal for every session is the create beautiful, custom artwork for our clients so that they can begin enjoying their new portraits immediately. For Bina, we created a custom framed portrait in a distressed ivory frame with a coordinating linen mat that showcases their favorite image to tell the story of them anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new little girl.
