Big laughs and sweet hugs.

Two pieces of my heart walking around outside of me.

Being a mother is hard.

Crazy.

Exhausting.

Amazing.

And I wouldn’t give it up for anything.

But here is the truth… If I were gone tomorrow, they are too young to remember me as any more than a vague idea.

I need them to have tangible proof that I am their mother, I was present, and I love them more than they could ever imagine.

And that is The Motherhood Collective – a monthly image that documents me, as a mother, with my children.

I am joined by a circle of other amazing photographers who have also taken this commitment to present in images with their children.
