The joy and pain of motherhood is that your child grows.
The tiny toes you once counted learn to be counted by their owner.
The sweet rolls you cuddled melt away into muscle.
The tiny baby you carried for hours on end begs to be put down.
They grow up.
And the pain is knowing they will never again be as small as they are this very instant.
But the joy.
The real joy.
They become your favorite imitator, for better or worse.
They want nothing more than to be like you and do what you do.
So they learn.
And they grow.
And smarter than you ever thought they could while still being so small.
That is the joy.
The wonderful heartache of watching as your tiny baby slowly, but so surely, grows up.
I want you to remember these moments. Let me document your child’s unique story.
