Allow me to explain.

A friend of mine, Sarah, is an amazing photographer in College Station. We wanted to do a newborn session together for experience, and to get the chance to have complete control over lighting, set-ups, colors, posing…. everything. Since our clients typically have a big say in how their babies are photographed, it can be nice to have a change every now and then to do things how we want.

(Note: I have great taste in color and style. Not bragging, but true. Let me make all the style decisions at your newborn session, and the images will be magical. Just sayin’.)

We had this lovely little one all lined up to model for us, but then lemons were handed to us.

Sarah got sick.

If there is one thing that your don’t want around a newborn, its a sick person.

Normally in this situation, the session would be canceled, since it was a free session to begin with. But, well, I needed a newborn fix, so I decided to go ahead with it solo.

And happily, she was a dream. Sleepy. Gorgeous. Perfect skin. And a very cooperative older brother.

Thus, lemonade.
