I say it every year, but this may have been the best year yet with Santa sessions here in Houston! Each year seems to bring just a little more magic than the year before. This was our 8th year with Santa and we welcomed 69 families with 148 children into our studio in Houston Heights. Most families are returning clients and make visiting Santa with us part of their annual holiday traditions. We even had families who moved to other parts of the state come back just to see Santa again!

Magic of Santa

Our youngest was just six days old and the oldest was 10! Ellie has come to see Santa all 8 years…perks of being the photographer’s daughter! I love that she still believes and I get to not only see the magic of Santa for my clients but my children too!

Trust me Mom and Dad, these years around the holidays with our littles ones are the best. The kids got to sit on Santa’s lap, share their Christmas wish lists and ring the bells. Some laughed as hard as Santa and others shed a few tears. And no matter the reaction- it was all so special.

To each family and child, thank you! Thank you for kicking off this holiday season and bringing so much joy to my life. Every year I look forward to Santa sessions- they truly are my favorite days to “go to work.”
