Deciding what to do with your images can be hard. In fact, it’s paralyzing for some- so much so that their family’s memories never even make it to the walls of their homes. We don’t want that to be your story. We’ll be with you every step of the way from the design and ordering appointment to the install so that you can enjoy your portraits.
Design and Ordering Appointment
About 2-3 weeks after your session, we will sit down in my studio in the Heights and look at your new images together in 90” HD. This is one of the most exciting parts of being a full-service photographer. Getting to see you, my clients, see your images for the first time is such a reward.
After we have shed a few happy tears, we’ll talk about your goals and style. We’ll determine if an album and/or artwork best suits your family. If you’re considering artwork, do you love grids or prefer a more asymmetrical look? Do you want a gallery wall featuring images from just one session or grow it over time? If so, for how long? Where in your house are they going? What’s your decor like? Do you have a specific type of image you are wanting to put up?
But what if you don’t have a clear vision? That’s okay too!
We have created a process that even makes indecisive decision-makers make decisions!
Wall Art + Custom Framing
We request that all of our clients take photos (an iPhone will do!) of the areas in your home you know you want to hang artwork and even the areas that are just possibilities. Knowing this, along with your favorite portraits, helps us determine the spaces we’ll be designing as well as whether it’s going to be a stand-alone frame and/or wall gallery.
Once we know that, we’ll input everything into our design software. This allows you to see a visual of what your portraits will look like in your space to scale. We’ll also take a look at frame corners and mat options and create something beautiful that goes along with the style of your home.
All of our framed artwork is produced here in the studio. This allows me to be able to offer custom framing with a variety of styles, sizes, and quality that I can stand behind. We use all conservation and archival materials, guaranteeing your artwork and family’s memories for a lifetime.
Install
The last, and arguably most exciting part for you as a client…the install! 4-6 weeks after your design and ordering appointment, I will personally come to your home and install your artwork.
Gone are the days of stressing over where and how to hang your frames…and putting one too many holes in the wall. You can cross this off of your to-do list and let us do all the heavy lifting!
Once the install is complete, we’ll call you in for the big reveal. All that’s left to do is for you to enjoy your photos every day!
Albums
Depending on the type of session, you may choose to create a custom heirloom album for your family. Our albums are handcrafted with archival materials to last a lifetime and beyond. We offer leather, linen, and suede covers, and trust me when I say, they are beautiful!
It’s no secret that I love framed artwork, but I also LOVE albums. The truth is, not every image is wall-worthy, but they are still part of your family’s story. And let’s face it, you only have so many walls in your home.
Albums are the perfect way to make sure all of the little moments are documented. These are the albums you’ll grab when your children (and grandchildren) visit and want to reminisce, not a Facebook album.
Much like the wall art design, our team will guide you through the entire process from selecting your photos, creating the design, and any revisions that need to be made. Once the design has been approved, it takes about 4-6 weeks for your album to be created and delivered.
