It goes so fast mamas. I know everyone says that, but it really does.

The only way I’ve figured out to freeze time is through photography and it is the heart of why I do what I do for Houston families. Most new parents choose to enroll in our Collective Membership program to document their baby’s first year. By doing this, parents put a plan in place in advance that ensures that each milestone of the child’s first year is captured. Its too easy to blink and then they are a year old, missing the opportunity to have photographs taken of their milestones. Let’s make a plan in advance, so that our studio can take the lead on getting sessions scheduled for you and your baby’s journey through their first year consistently documented.

Hazel and Cash’s parents did just that by enrolling in our Collective back when their mama was still pregnant. You can see their maternity and newborn portraits in previous blog posts. This session in our Houston studio gave us the perfect opportunity for individual portraits, ones of them together, updated family pictures, and of course, a cake smash to celebrate their birthday!

Their mama loves white on white (and you know I do too!) and we carried that theme throughout all 3 of their sessions so far.  This consistency makes for gorgeous gallery wall and album layout, which I’ll be sure to share when we finish their last session in a few more months.
