A Sweet 6 Month Baby Session with Houston Baby Photographer Fresh Light Photography

Kat is part of our Collective program, which means I get to see her every few months during her first year to photograph each stage of her growth. We love working closely with families like hers for a lot of reasons, but here are a few reasons why it is so great for parents too!

It’s checked off the to-do list!

By setting up a year’s worth of sessions while you are still pregnant, you don’t have to worry about finding (and remembering to find!) a photographer every few months. Instead, that task is taken care of before the all night nursing fests begin and mom brain sets in.

We build a relationship!

This is a huge one, especially when there are older siblings. Your toddler gets to know me and is familiar with the studio, which is a huge benefit when we are trying to get smiles and cooperation out of a 2 year old. Most of my clients come back yearly for family portraits after their plan year is over and then again for subsequent children, and it makes it so much easier to be able to just pick up where we left off rather than having to ease them in with a new photographer each time.

Consistency!

My clients love building gallery walls and hanging their portraits in their home. Choosing the same photographer to document your baby’s first year means that your images will have the same look throughout the year so your wall of portraits will all work together in color and style. We are also able to build a first year album that will be a beautiful family heirloom by working together all year.

We crafted a 12×18 framed piece to match one that they chose from their newborn session. This portrait will hang in their breakfast area and be something that their family will get to enjoy every day.

Babies change so much in their first few months, and milestone sessions are the perfect way to document each new accomplishment. You can see more examples of our baby sessions in our portfolio.

We offer your choice of a Signature Session or a Little Ones Session to capture each stage of your child’s life. Signature sessions are our standard offering that includes about an hour of session time and your choice of a fine art collection. Little Ones Sessions are shorter, all-inclusive sessions that offer a more economically option for parents. All baby photography sessions include the use of our studio wardrobe and styling so you don’t need to worry about finding the perfect outfits for you and your baby for your portrait session.

We are currently booking sessions for summer and fall 2018. We would love to work alongside of you to document your baby at each stage of their development, from newborns to their 1st birthday and beyond. We work with families across the Houston area of create timeless and simple portraits of their child, as well as beautiful artwork to adorn their home.
