I always encourage mamas to book their maternity and newborn photography session in advance, as my schedule does fill quickly. Sometimes though, life preparing for a baby gets busy and you look up and realize that your pregnancy is almost over already. This new mama contacted me looking for a last minute appointment and was in my stylist’s chair for her make-up 3 days later preparing for her organic maternity portrait session. Last minute bookings also mean there is little time to shop for clothes, but I love that I am able to offer a complete designer wardrobe to all my clients so there is no need to worry.

This is what 72 hours to plan looks like.

Images that her new son, who I got to meet and photograph a few days ago, will cherish when he sees how much love his mother had in her eyes when she carried him.
