Annie is the new daughter of my sweet friend, mentor, and fellow photographer, Jenny Cruger. When we planning for our session together, we knew that we wanted images of Jenny and Annie together to be the focus.

As photographers, we crave images of ourselves with our children shot in the same way we photograph our clients with their children. Unfortunately, that is rarely possible. Its the one image we can’t take for ourselves.

So for this session, I packed my bags and my 6 month old son and I headed to Nashville to spend a day with Jenny, Annie, and the rest of her family and photograph that sweet bond only a mama and her new baby can share.
